About R. Leon Goad

R.L. Goad lived by the knowledge he had of the Word of God. That knowledge, after years of studying and wearing out literally dozens of Bibles, was great. His energy and drive was amazing to all and a living testimony of the love he had for God, His Word, his respect for the anointing of God and his love for God's people. His constant thought was, "God, what can I do next?" He truly met the scripture in First Corinthians 16:15 "...they have addicted themselves to the ministering of the saints."

Evangelist R. L. Goad was a powerful and dynamic speaker believing in the demonstration of the power of the Holy Ghost and His gifts. He had been in the ministry for over 50 years. He was recognized for his obedience to the call of God.

Bishop Goad went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2022. He is greatly missed. His valuable training through the years of those who are left to carry on his legacy is evident in how they are carrying on the ministry. God is truly blessing us as we go on for Him.
